Mott Haven Preparatory High School

Mott Haven Village Preparatory High School presently serves 265 ambitious 9th-11th graders in the facility of the South Bronx High School. The average attendance last year was 93.3%, markedly higher than the city average and a sign of the perseverance of Mott Haven students. Test scores for Mott Haven students continue to exceed citywide averages and through hard work and dedicated studies, students at MHV Prep are daring to dream of something only 6% of the men and 7% of the women in their community (as calculated by the Bureau of the Census, 2000) have achieved: graduating from high school and completing college.
