Out of the Shadows takes you on an investigative journey with state-of-the-art technology to explore never before seen paintings by Rembrandt, van Gogh, and other important artists. From an inconspicuous Rembrandt gem, a medieval devotional triptych to a vibrant field painting by van Gogh, scientific researchers from the University of Delft have partnered up with the Rembrandt Research Project and the world's top connoisseurs to study hidden works digitally reconstructed from under layers of paint using non- invasive x-ray and 3-D technology. Mysteries of attribution are exposed, artists' processes are unraveled, and hidden works are revealed.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with filmmaker Kevin Sullivan,
Dr. Arthur Woll, and Dr. Joris Dik.
